Jamonte Franklin

Bio/About
I consider myself an innovative artist.  As a schloar of the arts, I was exposed to various arts and cultures in my home country, Germany.

I have showcased my art in bars and restaurants  but my aspirations is to become a world wide known artist.  Each art work that is sold, brings me joy & pride knowing that a piece of art that I pour my passion into is part of someone’s else space.

The majority of my creations are through visual art and graphic design.

The works featured here are available for purchase directly through the Artist. The Artist makes 100% of the profit of the sale of the artwork, so this is a great time to support them, while enhancing your art collection. The artist will directly pack and ship the product to you.
All works are original and signed by the artist!

Tell us more about your work:
My art is not a specific genre of art.  It is an ongoing self discovery of my abilities to create new visuals by using different materials and mediums.

What is something you had to put off because of the pandemic that you have recently done or is on your list to do soon?  I couldn’t visit Europe to visit family and friends.  However, I did some self-reflection.  Learning yoga was a bonus.

What does your art future hold for you? My art to be featured in galleries, maybe even in well-known museums.

How do you keep motivated?  My motivation is driven by my endless imagination.  I would love to collaborate with other artists and designers.

Name a famous artist that inspires you and one not yet famous artist you would like the readers to know about. I like an artist that stands out from the rest.

Is there a current or upcoming show or exhibit you want to let people know about? I am participating in Wilton Art’s Annual Fundraising Event artsquare12x12.2023 opening February 3rd at Pride Corner Art and Frame Gallery.  If chosen, I will have an opportunity to show case at the upcoming Artsunited event in January.

What inspires you to be an artist and what inspiration can you pass on to others: My inspiration is taking what I have imagined to come to life on a canvas.  After I am gone, I want to the existence of my art to give the people the Ah! experience.

How are you giving back to your community? I give back to my community by shopping at the local shops.  Supporting their dreams and aspirations.

Let’s end with a fun fact about you! I speak, read, and write fluent German. Added bonus, I am a professional licensed massage therapist.
