Tucker is a professional mixed-media artist specializing in whimsical images of her own personal experiences of life, people, creatures, objects, and places.
“My passion is creating paintings and then accessorizing them. I use acrylics because I work fast, and they dry fast. I’m truly inspired visually throughout my day. Creating is simply who I am! Living the life I dreamt of, doing art daily, constantly filled with ideas, and the blank canvas calls to me. Sometimes silly, often impulsive, art transports me to a place of joy, possibility, and peace. I love when people interact with my work.”

It’s monkey time now and we’re jiving to the beat,
So happy to be here, as I’m licking something sweet.
Hanging with my kid being silly by my side
Loving freedom of expression, we’ll never hide!
We’re a team, we’re family and you’re never alone,
God willing one day you’ll have a monkey of your own.
It’s crazy out there, protect, listen… life’s not a joke,
Wherever you travel, kiddo, make sure you are woke!
I know there’d be times when you may feel some fear,
You’ll be by yourself and I may not be there!

What does your art future hold for you?
In my crystal ball, I see worldwide recognition of my “Tucker Creations.” My goal is to make a difference through art with personal engagement, interaction, and group participation.
How do you keep motivated?
My creativity is motivated by injustice, inhumanity, humor, nostalgia and simply being silly!
Name a famous artist who inspires you and one not yet famous artist you would like the readers to know about.
Pablo Cano is a favorite. He’s a Cuban American found-object marionette performing artist, who’s living, famous, and part of my personal art collection.
Is there a current or upcoming show or exhibit you want to let people know about?
Currently, and throughout the Summer & Fall, I’m exhibiting at a variety of Broward County Libraries, & Hof’s Ice Cream Parlor on Las Olas.
What inspires you to be an artist and what inspiration can you pass on to others?
I believe everyone has creative ability which can be expressed through a variety of mediums. The trick is to inspire others to let go of old stories and self-judgement.
How are you giving back to your community?
I teach free inspirational art classes on Zoom every Sunday at 11:00 am, for the past 3 years.
